JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The City of Jacksonville’s Office of Sports & Entertainment, working with Naval Station Mayport and the City of Jacksonville Beach, announced the Jacksonville Sea & Sky Air Show will return Oct. 23-24, 2027, and will include a planned appearance by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
The 2027 national air show calendar was released at the International Council of Air Shows in Las Vegas. The Sea & Sky event will take place along the coastline of Jacksonville Beach and will feature a mix of military and civilian performers.

“We are excited to bring families, neighbors, aviation enthusiasts and visitors together once again to celebrate community, military partnership and the excitement of flight,” Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan said in a statement. “We are grateful to the Blue Angels for their planned return to our Sea & Sky Airshow to showcase their service, skill and teamwork. It is a privilege to have the Blue Angels and all military air performers bring the thrill and magic of flight back to our proud military community.”
The free, family-friendly show will include award-winning civilian and military aerobatic performances over the Atlantic and additional on-site activities. Officials said more details — including the full list of performers, parking options, shuttle service and road closures — will be announced as the event approaches.
“I want to thank the City of Jacksonville for working so hard with us to bring the 2027 Sea & Sky Show — along with the Blue Angels — back to Jacksonville Beach,” Jacksonville Beach Mayor Chris Hoffman said.
Alex Alston, executive director of the City of Jacksonville Office of Sports & Entertainment, said organizers look forward to welcoming visitors for a weekend of “excitement and community spirit.”
