Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department took all three to local hospitals, where Bostic later died.
The sheriff’s office said a gunfight took place during a drug deal.
His sister, Zakiya Bostic, started a GoFundMe to raise money for his mother, the funeral and burial expenses.
“Amir was an amazing kid — kind, respectful, loving, and full of so much potential. He had a gentle heart and a bright spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He wasn’t just my brother; he was our family’s joy," Zakiya Bostic said in the GoFundMe.
She also said that since his passing, it’s been difficult for her to be home alone and navigate life without him.
