JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Transportation Authority will host a series of community meetings to talk about mobility and transportation in Northeast Florida.
These meetings will give residents updates on current transportation projects, recent improvements, and plans for the future. JTA also wants to hear feedback to help guide long-term mobility planning across the region.

JTA will provide an overview of its services, along with updates on improvements and operational changes made over the past year.
“At the JTA, people are at the center of everything we do,” said JTA CEO Nat Ford. “These meetings provide an important opportunity to share progress, listen to the community, gather feedback, and ensure our future planning continues to advance safe, reliable, and accessible mobility for Northeast Florida.”
Here’s the schedule for the meetings:
- Jan. 6 at FSCJ Downtown, large auditorium, 501 W. State Street, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 5 to 7 p.m.
- Jan. 7 at William Gulliford Community Center, 4870 Ocean Street, from 9 to 11 a.m.
- Jan. 8 at Pablo Creek Public Library, 13295 Beach Boulevard, from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Jan. 13 at Legends Center, 5130 Soutel Drive, from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- Jan. 14 at Regency Square Public Library, 9900 Regency Square Boulevard, from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
- Jan. 15 at Regency Square Public Library, from 1 to 3 p.m.
All interested individuals and community groups are encouraged to attend and participate. All meeting locations are ADA accessible.
