5 people shot at large gathering in Arlington, including 16-year-old, JSO says

All victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Five people were shot early Saturday morning at a large gathering in Arlington, including a 16-year-old, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

Police said at around 3 a.m., officers reported to the 1200 block of Arlington Avenue in reference to a shooting.

There was a large gathering with about 20 people. JSO said an argument happened between two groups at the house, leading to a shooting where five people were hit.

Two women in their early 20s had non-life-threatening wounds to the thigh and the arm; two men in their early 20s were both shot in the leg; and a 16-year-old was shot once in the back, also non-life-threatening, JSO said.
