Lanes reopen after crash causes backups for drivers entering and exiting Fernandina Beach

FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. – Emergency crews were on the scene of a crash with injuries on South 8th Street in Fernandina Beach Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened near the intersection at Amelia Island Parkway.

Drivers were urged to use caution in the area and expect delays while first responders were on the scene.

As of 2:30 p.m., all lanes were back open, and the scene was cleared.
