JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Transportation Authority will host its 2026 State of the Authority on Wednesday to recap its 2025 achievements and its vision for the year ahead and beyond.

In 2025, JTA launched NAVI, an autonomous public transportation service, a collaboration with HOLON’s announcement to move their U.S. headquarters and establish their first U.S. manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, the opening of the ARTEA, the completion of MobilityWorks 1.0, and the onboarding of new bus operators.
JTA CEO Nat Ford will introduce MVP 2050 (The Mobility Visioning Plan 2050, a roadmap for Jacksonville’s transportation future.
The event will also take a look at the JTA’s Better Together campaign, focused on strengthening community connections with JTA.
Officials will also have an update on the controversial upcoming fare reduction pilot program set to take effect Feb. 1.
K. Jane Williams, the former Administrator for the Federal Transit Administration, is the keynote speaker. She is now the Senior Vice President and National Practice Leader in HNTB Corporation’s Advisory practice.
