2 Clay County deputies injured when multiple dogs attack during response to call, sheriff’s office says

MIDDLEBURG, Fla. – Two Clay County deputies were injured Thursday night when they were attacked by multiple dogs while responding to a call on Foxtail Avenue in Middleburg, the Sheriff’s Office said.

According to CCSO, one deputy suffered significant but not life-threatening injuries, and another deputy suffered minor injuries.

Both are being treated at the hospital.

The Sheriff’s Office said it was an isolated incident and there was no threat to the community.

The incident remains under investigation.
