JSO searching for car involved in hit-and-run on Vernon Rd. between Edgewood Ave. and West 45th St.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying a car involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Vernon Road between Edgewood Avenue and West 45th Street on Jan 10.

The victim was a 72-year-old man who passed away from his injuries. The surveillance footage above was captured near the scene. The spotlighted vehicle is of interest, the sheriff’s office said.
