JSO became the steward of the Normandy utility on Sept 5, which has approximately 1,400 customers, and is located on Foraker Road.

JEA says it has done a lot of work through the customer outreach group and town hall meetings.

Also, there is a new office for customers, located at 8081 Normandy Boulevard. Each customer has been given a water conservation kit to help them conserve and reduce their water bills.

JEA said it is working to repair the immediate compliance issues at the wastewater facility. The utility’s future goal is to interconnect the Normandy facility with JEA, but there are challenges for inflow and infiltration that must be assessed.

JEA added that it has noticed significant improvement since it acquired the utility.

Another town hall meeting will happen in the spring to update customers. If you are a Normandy customer, you can find more information at www.jea.com/nvu
