Man arrested after firing shot from car during road rage incident in Neptune Beach, police say

NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. – A man was arrested in connection with a road rage incident that happened earlier this month in Neptune Beach, according to the police department.

Police said Fabio Ladino, 43, is facing multiple charges after he discharged a firearm from a moving car during a road rage incident on Jan. 10.

According to police, while officers were investigating the incident, they were notified of a similar incident in Jacksonville Beach involving a car that matched the description from the initial report.

Through a multi-agency effort, the Neptune Beach Police Department and Jacksonville Beach Police Department located a car matching the description at a home in Neptune Beach.

Following an investigation, Ladino was arrested, and his car was seized, police said.

Officers also conducted a search warrant for Ladino’s car and home, and recovered a shell casing.

Ladino was charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle within 1,000 feet of another person, resisting an officer without violence, and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.

“This incident highlights the importance of reporting dangerous behavior and the effectiveness of strong interagency cooperation,” the police department wrote.
