Undetermined death under investigation in Jacksonville home No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – JSO’s Homicide Unit reported that officers responded around 8:05 p.m. to the scene after receiving a call about an unresponsive person in East Arlington. Upon arrival, officers located a woman in a bedroom. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
JSO says they are coordinating with the State Attorney’s Office and the Medical Examiner’s Office as the inquiry continues.
Preliminary information indicates the victim was inside the home with her adult son when she became unresponsive. The son is cooperating with investigators and is currently being interviewed.
The case is being classified as an undetermined death as authorities work to determine the circumstances.
