Nonstop flights from JAX to Toronto returning in May

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Nonstop service between Toronto and Jacksonville International Airport is scheduled to return this spring, according to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority and confirmed by the airline’s website.

The Air Canada website shows flights to Toronto from JAX beginning May 27 with one-way fares starting at $320 for an economy seat.

According to News4JAX partners at the Jacksonville Daily Record, JAA CEO Mark VanLoh confirmed the Canadian airline’s return at a JAA board meeting on Monday.

Aircanada.com shows the first nonstop flight from Toronto to Jacksonville is scheduled for May 26.

After the May 27 flight, the outbound service from Jacksonville will operate Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Oct. 24, according to aircanada.com. Departure time from JIA is 10:20 a.m.

According to the JDR, Air Canada said in an email that the service is seasonal.
