Set in a fictional pub called The Jungle, the 90-minute production blends powerful vocals, live music, and high-energy choreography. The show features songs from a wide range of artists, including Adele, Guns N’ Roses, Luther Vandross, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Paul Simon.
Unlike traditional musicals, The Choir of Man focuses on connection and community rather than a linear storyline. The cast portrays familiar pub characters while celebrating themes such as friendship, belonging, and men’s mental health.
“The pub is where people come together to celebrate, to grieve, to connect,” said Conor Hanley, who plays the poet and narrator of the show. “We like to say it’s the best pub gig you’ll ever go to.”
Audience members are invited to interact with the cast before the show, and select guests may even be served a drink during the performance.
The production has toured worldwide and has been embraced by audiences across the United States for its inclusive atmosphere and feel-good energy.
The Choir of Man performs in Jacksonville Feb. 5, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. Tickets are available through the venue’s box office.
