Lanes reopen after vehicle fire on Dames Point Bridge causes backups

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Emergency crews were on the scene of a vehicle fire in the southbound lanes of the Dames Point Bridge on Thursday afternoon.

As of 12:55 p.m., two left lanes were blocked heading southbound. Just one lane was blocked by 1:30 p.m.

Two northbound lanes were also blocked by fire rescue crews, but all lanes have since reopened.
