Detectives say the victims were standing outside the suspect’s apartment building with two other people when the suspect began firing from inside his apartment. Investigators said the suspect continued shooting as the group tried to run away.

The two other victims were not hurt.

CCSO said everyone involved knew each other and had reportedly been involved in prior disputes.

The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Dimond Crawford, was arrested and charged with four counts of attempted murder without premeditation and one count of tampering with evidence, according to CCSO. He was booked into the Clay County Jail and is being held on a $750,015 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
