JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – If you’re looking for a fun, flexible job in a high-energy environment this spring, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are hiring.

According to a release, the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins will host two preseason job fairs for seasonal gameday and food & beverage positions at VyStar Ballpark:

The Jumbo Shrimp are filling seasonal positions for approximately 75 home games, plus additional stadium events and training.

Gameday Positions Available

Here’s a breakdown of opportunities available around the ballpark:

Game Day Ticket Seller/Taker

Work the box office and gates, assisting fans with ticket purchases, exchanges, upgrades, and scanning entry tickets.

Kid Zone Attendant

Oversee children’s attractions like inflatables and speed pitch areas, ensuring safety and fun.

Guest Relations

Serve as the ballpark’s customer service hub—helping fans with everything from ticket issues to birthday announcements on the video board.

50/50 Ticket Seller

Sell raffle tickets during games, handle transactions, and help meet nightly fundraising goals.

Fan Experience Representative

Guide fans to seats, inspect bags, answer questions, and help maintain smooth entry and exit flow.

Bat Boy

Assist in preparing dugouts, filling water jugs, and retrieving bats. Must be at least 16 by Opening Day.

ID Checker

Verify age and distribute wristbands for alcohol purchases.

Security

Monitor restricted-access areas throughout the stadium.

Game Day Clean Team

Keep concourses, restrooms, and seating areas clean and presentable throughout the game.

Food & Beverage Positions Available

For those with hospitality or kitchen experience, several F&B roles are open:

Concessions Stand Lead

Supervise concession operations, maintain inventory, and ensure food safety compliance (Food Handler Card required).

Concessions Attendant

Prepare and serve food, handle payments, and maintain cleanliness.

Cook

Prepare menu items and work fryers/grills (Food Handler Card or ServSafe required).

Expeditor

Coordinate between front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure accurate, timely food service.

Warehouse Worker/Runner

Manage deliveries and distribute products throughout the stadium.

Bartender

Serve beverages and operate point-of-sale systems (must understand alcohol service regulations).

Party Deck & Skydeck Attendants

Maintain catering areas and serve private event guests.

Premium Club In-Seat Server

Provide direct service to Home Plate Club guests.

Pit Crew Cook

Assist with BBQ and smoked meats preparation.

Warehouse Lead

Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and team leadership.
