JSO investigating shooting with injuries in the Oceanway neighborhood

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Tuesday night shooting in the Oceanway neighborhood.
Deputies responded to a home on Hayden Lakes Circle after reports of shots being fired.
According to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, an adult was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and a pediatric patient was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear.
