JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – All three men caught on surveillance in an attempted home invasion robbery in January that led to a midday shootout in Northwest Jacksonville have been arrested, according to police records.

In the Jan. 22 incident, the three men were caught on a neighbor’s surveillance camera, dressed in black and wearing masks as they approached the 6th Avenue house.
About 25 seconds after they walked out of frame, more than a dozen gunshots could be heard. Then moments later, two of the men were seen running from the scene in the opposite direction, leaving the third person behind.
Reports indicate that the third person was Stewart, who was wounded in a shootout with a man inside the house.
The victim, in his second interview with police, admitted that three masked men entered the unlocked front door with guns drawn and began shooting. He told police he shot back at the men, hitting one of them. He also said he did not own the home and did not live there.
Surveillance video recovered from the home showed Stewart firing his gun at the victim, who returned fire. Both men were wounded.
Stewart managed to crawl out of the home into the yard, and the victim was found in a car in the driveway when first responders arrived.
Police said a search warrant later revealed the front room of the house had been set up as a makeshift cannabis dispensary. Investigators found multiple cameras aimed at what appeared to be a shopping area.
