JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man in his 40s was grazed in a Thursday shooting at a bus stop, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Around 11 a.m., JSO said a suspect approached a group of people at a bus stop on University Boulevard near Fort Caroline Road. At some point, the encounter became confrontational, JSO said. It’s unclear what started the argument.

Police said the suspect then pulled out a gun to hit the man in his 40s, but during that encounter, the gun went off and grazed him. The suspect ran off.
It’s also unclear if the two knew each other.
Jacksonville Fire Rescue treated the injured man on the scene.
