JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to an early Sunday morning shooting in the Lackawanna neighborhood that left a man injured.
Police were called to Ryan Avenue, just off Edgewood Avenue, around 4:40 a.m. in response to calls about gunshots.

When they arrived, they did not find any witnesses or victims, but found more than a dozen shell casings.
A little later, a man was dropped off at the hospital, where he was treated for injuries to the thigh and finger.
JSO said he is expected to recover.
Police said the man was standing in the road on Ryan Ave when he was shot, but did not give more details surrounding the circumstances, as the investigation is early.
No arrests have been made.
