WASHINGTON, D.C. – At the White House on Thursday, Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook was honored by President Donald Trump while attending a Women’s History Month event in Washington, D.C.

Cook, whose career in law enforcement began in 1992, worked with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and Atlantic Beach Police Department before successfully campaigning to become Clay County’s next sheriff.
