The fundraiser was created by Carly’s aunt Jessica, to help ease the financial burden on Carly’s mother and brothers during this difficult time.

She writes, “[Carly’s] passing has left our family heartbroken to say the least. We find comfort in knowing she was met in heaven by loved ones who welcomed her. Carly was intelligent, strong, and naturally beautiful. She was athletic, mechanically inclined, and never afraid to get her hands dirty. She lived life her own way—fiercely loyal, honest, funny, and incredibly giving, with a gentle heart and a deep love for animals and nature.”

“She had many passions—reading, music, laughter. She could shred on her skateboard and loved spending time outdoors, and being with her dog, Roscoe. She talked of becoming a veterinarian, had recently considered the military, and was even exploring tattooing.

“The loss of Carly at such a young age is unimaginable. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.”
