ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A dead body was found Friday just before 7 p.m. along the rocks at Old A1A near Gene Johnson Road, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating. The medical examiner is at the scene to help determine the cause of death.
Old A1A is closed in the area until the scene is cleared. The investigation is ongoing.
