Clay County firefighters responding to brush fire in Middleburg

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – First responders with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Clay County Fire Rescue were on the scene of a brush fire in Middleburg on Monday afternoon.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the fire is burning in the wooded area between Currant Ave. and Maluke Lane, North of County Road 218.
Sheriff Michelle Cook is urging people in the area to remain vigilant and be prepared to evacuate if necessary.
