Road closures are in effect due to heavy smoke. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, all lanes on State Road 2 in Sanderson are closed. The Georgia Department of Transportation reports both lanes of State Road 94 Southbound at Main Pasture Road are also shut down.

The Florida Forestry Service says no homes are currently being threatened by the blaze. Several agencies are working together to contain and fight the fire.

This is a developing story.
