Caught on Camera: Garbage truck engulfed by flames in Clay County neighborhood

CLAY COUNTY, Florida – Video showed flames shooting from a garbage truck in Clay County Tuesday morning.

It happened on a residential street at Pecan Grove Drive in the Oakleaf Plantation neighborhood.

According to Clay County Fire and Rescue, the call came in at 7:40 a.m. and firefighters knocked down the flames before 8 a.m.

The department said no injuries were reported.

It’s unclear what caused the fire.
