The university says feedback gathered in the session will help shape the criteria used to select the next leader, including the qualities and characteristics the community wants to see in a future president.
Those who can’t attend in person can participate via Zoom or submit comments by email to krisha.creal@funkassociates.com.
Funk Associates is assisting with the listening session.
The search comes amid big leadership changes at the university this year.
Dr. Moez Limayem, who was the school’s seventh president, parted ways from the school earlier this year after three and a half years to become president of the University of South Florida.
Dr. Angela Garcia Falconetti is currently serving as UNF’s interim president after being appointed by the Board of Trustees in February.
After the listening session, the presidential search committee is expected to present candidates to the UNF Board of Trustees, and a pick will be made from there.
The selection must also be approved by the Florida Board of Governors.
