News4JAX named Overall Station of the Year by the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists

WJXT brings home wins across several categories

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – News4JAX has been named Overall Station of the Year by the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists, earning recognition as the top medium market television news station in the state. The station also took home multiple individual and team awards across several categories.

WJXT News Director Robert Brown said the honor reflects the dedication of everyone in the newsroom.

The station and its reporters also brought home trophies in the following categories: Multi-Media Reporter, Economic Reporting and Cultural/Historical Feature.

In addition to the station’s wins, the News4JAX team was also a finalist in two additional categories including Sports Story and Website.
