Vehicle found in retention pond near River City Marketplace

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office dive team responded to a retention pond off Max Leggett Parkway Tuesday afternoon.

They pond is located at the Parkway Shops across the street from River City Marketplace.

According to JSO, officers were responding to a vehicle in the water but found no one inside.

A tow truck arrived to pull the vehicle out.
