Clay County Sheriff’s Office investigating deputy-involved shooting in Oakleaf Plantation

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is responding to a deputy-involved shooting in the Silver Bluff neighborhood of Oakleaf Plantation.

Officials say the scene remains active, but residents in the area are not in danger.

“There is a heavy law enforcement presence, and the scene is still active, however there is no threat to the community,” the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on social media. “More information will be released as soon as it is available.”
