JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An 18-year-old accused in connection with a deadly shooting at a Springfield gas station in 2015 was acquitted Wednesday in the murder of Tony Johnson.
Cameron Sneed was charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and robbery.

Jeremiah Hill, 14, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the shooting death of Johnson during an armed robbery on June 10, 2015. He was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Jeremiah, who was 13 at the time, admitted to killing Johnson, 25, at a BP gas station on North Main Street after meeting to exchange guns.
Jeremiah's cousin, 19-year-old Keyshaun Hill, and Sneed were also charged with murder, attempted murder and armed robbery in the shooting death.
Prosecutors said Sneed and the cousins took Johnson's car and drove away.
The jury acquitted Sneed after about 90 minutes of deliberations. Keyshaun Hill is still awaiting trial.
Johnson's friend was also shot multiple times in the incident, but has recovered.
