Police searching for Quentin Brown after not returning from work release

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for a man who they said escaped from a work release program Tuesday.

According to officials, Quentin Brown failed to return from his work release program and is being sought by police for escape.

Brown was in custody after being sentenced to 12 months for possession of cocaine, police said.

Brown was described by police as a 49-year-old black male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 lbs. Police said he also has black hair and green eyes.
