Yesterday's damage from the big lightning that hit my tree in my front yard in Arlington, Lake Lucina area. The lightning hit the big pecan tree, travelled down and around the tree, and kept travelling underground , damaging water pipes and leaving a long black charred trail, 1 to 2 inches deep in the soil... going towards the house structure... until thankfully it was stopped by the metal chair. Only 3 legs took the brunt as you can see the soil is burnt under them.
