JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The spirit of giving shone brightly during our annual Channel 4 Toy Drive on Thursday, Dec. 4, as our community once again came together to bring holiday magic to local children.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our viewers, 1,513 toys, 113 bikes, 27 helmets, and 135 books were donated yesterday at Channel 4 to help make a child’s Christmas brighter.

These heartfelt gifts are scheduled to be handed out at the Children’s Christmas Party of Jacksonville on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. The support from our community ensured that thousands of children would experience joy, excitement, and hope this holiday season.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., cars lined up at the WJXT studios at 4 Broadcast Place, where families, businesses, and everyday heroes dropped off new, unwrapped gifts for children up to age 12. As in previous years, donors contributed everything from dolls and scooters to art supplies, learning toys, and bicycles. No one even had to get out of their car—holiday helpers were ready and waiting to collect each gift with a smile.
This year’s toy drive continued a long tradition of community compassion. Last year, our viewers helped us collect more than 2,500 toys and 125 bikes—and once again, their generosity exceeded every expectation.
This year’s donations will be handed out during the Children’s Christmas Party of Jacksonville on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The toys will bring holiday cheer to as many as 5,000 children across our community.
The Channel 4 Toy Drive has always been about more than just gifts; it has been about creating moments of joy, building memories, and showing that when we come together, we can make a meaningful impact.
Thank you, Jacksonville, for helping make Christmas merry and bright for children who needed it most. 🎄💖
