The Lions beat Starke Northside Christian 59-45 for the championship

Jordan Hildestad led the Lions with 17 points and 12 rebounds

The '08 Univ. of Memphis title was taken from Caliparis team because someone took the SAT for star player Derrick Rose. Calipari allegedly knew of both incidents before they became public.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Beaches Chapel School defeated Strake's Northside Christian Academy 59-46 in the Southeastern Christian Conference State Championship game Saturday.

6' 6" senior Jordan Hildestad led the Lions to victory with a Final Four MVP performance of 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.  Junior shooting guard Alan Whitaker opened the second half with his second three-pointer of the game, as the Neptune Beach school opened a twenty-point lead.  A feisty Northside team fought back, trimming the lead to five with two and a half minutes remaining in the game before Beaches Chapel went on a ten to two run to seal the victory. 

Guard Justin Ilagan scored 10, Whitaker dropped in 15, and CJ Hurst added 9 for the Lions.
