KNOXVILLE, Tn. – Pat Summitt's legacy will live forever at the University of Tennessee. The school unveiled a 9-foot, 500lb statue in her honor on Friday. The statue was revealed during a dedication ceremony for the Pat Summitt Plaza. A crowd of over 1,000 people were there to witness the ceremony, including many of the former Lady Vols players.

Summitt is the all-time winningest coach in NCAA history, of either a men's or women's team in any division.  She coached from 1974 to 2012, leading the Lady Vols to eight NCAA national championships, second only to the record 10 titles won by UCLA men's coach John Wooden. Summit managed to rack up more than 1,000 wins to go along with her eight national championships, not to mention a medal of Freedom.
