JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – When a fortune 500 company is searching for a new CEO they often turn to the executive search firm Korn Ferry Institute. According to a report by ESPN the Jaguars have hired Korn Ferry to aid in their search for a new head coach.
The Jaguars fired Gus Bradley following last Sunday’s loss to the Texans. Bradley was just 14-48 during his four seasons in Jacksonville.

Conventional thinking said the decision on a new coach would made by a collection of owner Shad Khan, general manager and team president Mark Lamping. Adding Korn Ferry to that group gives the Jaguars even more information to work with.
Doug Marrone, who is currently serving as the Jaguars interim coach, is a candidate for the full-time job according to Caldwell.
According to a separate report the Jaguars will meet with former Jaguars and Giants coach Tom Coughlin in the coming week. The role could be for the head coach opening in Jacksonville or possibly a front office position.
Caldwell confirmed on Monday that the Jaguars would be interested in speaking with Coughlin.
“He’s got so much experience on myself or any coach that we have in this building,” said Caldwell. “He’s a great individual. I think you can always learn from people. There’s always a quest for knowledge.”
