Jaguars reduce roster to 75 ahead of final round of cuts

Team must get roster down to 53 by 4 p.m. Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars reduced their roster to 75 players Friday.

The team must cut down its roster to 53 players by 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Jaguars waived the following players:

  • Undrafted rookie TE Caleb Blueitt
  • First-year OL Malcolm Bunche
  • Undrafted rookie LB P.J. Davis
  • Seventh-year LB Akeem Dent
  • Fifth-year RB Jonathan Grimes
  • Sixth-year RB DuJuan Harris
  • Fourth-year CB Charles James II
  • Undrafted rookie DT Tueni Lupeamanu
  • First-year WR Larry Pinkard
  • Fourth-year OL Demetrius Rhane
  • First-year WR Jamal Robinson
  • Undrafted rookie Dwayne Thomas. 

The Jaguars also placed sixth-year DB Jeron Johnsonand and fifth-year TE Mychal Rivera on the team’s reserve/injured list. Johnson and Rivera are not eligible for reserve/injured -- designated for return.

Lastly, the Jaguars waived/injured seventh-round rookie FB Marquez Williams.
