Wildcard Weekend: Jaguars playoff tickets go on sale Wednesday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Despite back-to-back losses, the Jaguars currently have a 91% chance to make the playoffs, and if you want to be there for Wildcard Weekend, tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The early ticket sales are part of an NFL policy that if a team is leading its division -- like the Jags are right now in the AFC South -- it has to put tickets on sale in advance for Wildcard Weekend. Teams that have an even record and are within three games of first place in their division also have to sell wildcard tickets early.

The wildcard games will be played Jan. 13-15, 2024.

When the tickets hit the market, Jaguars season ticket holders will have priority.

If the Jags get a bye for the wildcard round -- which might take some luck but is not out of the realm of possibility -- tickets purchased can be used for the Divisional Round.

According to “Seat Geek,” Jaguars playoff tickets typically sell for as low as $256 with an average of $370.

Entire sections on the Jags side quickly sold out ahead of the Jaguars-Chargers wildcard game earlier this year.

Seats on the 50-yard line sold for upwards of $2,000, and one pair of club seats was listed for $10,0000 on Ticketmaster, but it’s unclear if they actually sold for that price.

If the Jaguars either don’t make the playoffs or fail to secure a home game in the playoffs, fans will get a refund -- but here’s hoping that does NOT happen.
