This year’s record: 4-1.

Just like the Jaguars it seems I’m on somewhat of a role when it comes to making pics right now so I’m going to try to see if I can keep it going. We got the Jags and the Seahawks. It’ll be another tough game. It’s in Jacksonville and I do like the Jaguars in this one. I think the offense might have figured a couple things out with Trevor Lawrence. If he continues to play well that’ll definitely help them out. I also think like I’ve said before running the ball and taking the ball away, those are your two biggest keys to victory so I hope Duval shows up and shows out and the Jaguars walk out with another win. I will just add that if they were to drop one during this stretch. I can see this one being the one because they’re coming off an emotional Monday night game and they have a short week but I’m still sticking with the Jaguars. — Jaguars 24, Seahawks 21.

My 3-0 start has cratered and I’m now a game behind colleague Kyle Ashley. The Jaguars have something good going right now and it’s difficult to pick against them, even against a Seattle team that is excellent at stopping the run. — Jaguars 23, Seahawks 20.

I learned my lesson last week — don’t bet against the Jaguars, especially at home. Here we are again as the Jaguars have another tough test welcoming the Seahawks to town. I think the Jags will have to rely on passing in this game because Seattle’s defense is the third-best run defense. Head coach Liam Coen said, “Especially in the first half of games, those guys come out and nobody’s running the ball on those guys really. Their front is so deep, they’ve got eight guys up front that have played high level football in the NFL and have all been impactful starters at some point in the National Football League at one point.” On the other side of the ball, quarterback Sam Darnold is off to a good start. But can the Jags defense add even more to their league-leading 14 takeaways? That will be key. I would assume the Seahawks will throw at Greg Newsome often since he only arrived in town just a few days ago, so how well can he lock in and get enough of a grasp of the defense? We’ll see. — Jaguars 21, Seahawks 17.

Ride the wave. Seahawks are a good team. This is a tough game but Jags haven’t lost at home yet and this is their last home game until Week 11. They got to leave with a dub. — Jaguars 31, Seahawks 24.
