Rank (previous), school, record, classification

1. (1) Ponte Vedra (4-0-1), Class 5A

Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Bishop Kenny, Chiles, Lake Highland Prep.

Notable: Great start continues for the Sharks. They added high quality Ws over Lake Highland Prep (5-2) and Bishop Kenny (2-0) since our last Super 6. On Thursday night, they visit powerhouse St. Johns Country Day and then get a long break before returning Dec. 2. Lily Morse has four goals and an assist for the Sharks.

2. (3) Creekside (4-0), Class 7A

Quality wins: Bishop Kenny, Fletcher, Gulf Breeze, Viera.

Notable: The Knights have been off since a 3-1 win over Bishop Kenny on Nov. 11. They’re back in action on Friday and Saturday against Bishop Moore and Lake Highland Prep, respectively.

3. (4) Bartram Trail (3-1-2), Class 6A

Quality wins: Beachside, Navarre, Spruce Creek.

Notable: The Bears are back on track, going 2-0-1 since our last Super 6. They tied 1-all against unbeaten Niceville, clubbed Navarre (4-1) and edged Beachside (1-0). They visit Atlantic Coast on Thursday night before Thanksgiving break, and return on Dec. 2. Junior F Layla Davis is leading the offense with four goals and an assist. Sophomore MF Valentina Lopez and F/D Bella Abinsay both have a couple assists for the Bears.

4. (6) Bishop Kenny (3-2), Class 4A

Quality wins: Stanton, St. Johns Country Day.

Notable: The Crusaders went 1-1 since our last Super 6, including a massive win over previous No. 2 St. Johns Country Day (2-1). That was the first loss to a team in Duval County since a 3-0 setback to Bolles on Dec. 15, 2014. Freshman Shea Donovan scored both goals for Bishop Kenny in that game. She’s up to six this season, followed by Stella Jones (5 goals). Kenny also dropped a 2-0 game to No. 1 Ponte Vedra.

5. (2) St. Johns Country Day (4-1-1), Class 1A

Quality wins: Episcopal, Fleming Island, P.K. Yonge.

Notable: A rare loss to a Jacksonville team (Bishop Kenny) pushes the Spartans down a few spots. The Spartans have dropped games to St. Johns County-area teams over the last decade, but not a Duval team since 2014. They responded emphatically, with an 8-0 blowout of previously ranked Episcopal. They host No. 1 Ponte Vedra on Thursday before a break until Dec. 3. Victoria Sarka (7 goals, 5 assists), Madyson Bauman (3 goals, 2 assists) and Calli Berang (2 goals, 4 assists) lead St. Johns.

6. (NR) Providence (5-0-2), Class 2A)

Quality wins: Atlantic Coast, Nease, New Smyrna Beach, St. Joseph.

Notable: Big time start for Providence. They handed New Smyrna Beach (3-1) and St. Joseph (4-1) their only losses and shut out Atlantic Coast (3-0). Matanzas is up next on Friday before the Thanksgiving break. Kendall Trimiar has six goals and Katie Cunningham has four goals and an assist.
