1. (1) Jackson (7-0, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Bolles, Florida High, Ponte Vedra, Providence.

Notable: Two more easy wins for the Tigers) since our last Super 6 — a 75-50 win over Bolles and a 96-38 win over Pine Ridge. They’ve got a rivalry game on Tuesday at Ribault followed by a clash against Fleming Island and star Carson Crawford on Wednesday night. Javion Davis (13.8 ppg) and Donald Hackworth (12.5 ppg, 7 rpg) are in double figures in scoring. King Sanders (9.5 ppg), Terrell Mosely II (9.5 ppg) and Corenzes Dennard (9.3 ppg) are not far behind.

2. (2) Providence (6-2, Class 2A)

Quality wins: Bolles, Impact Christian, Tocoi Creek, Windermere.

Notable: The Stallions stacked two quality wins since our last Super 6, including a 66-57 W over No. 3 Impact. They also had a 55-38 win over a solid Windermere team that was the Class 7A state runner-up last season. They round out the week with St. Augustine, Bishop Snyder and Melbourne Central Catholic. Marvin Christie (15.9 ppg, 7.3 rpg), William Stewart (15.4 ppg, 7.1 rpg) and Ryan Gornto (12.3 ppg) are powering the unquestioned No. 2 Stallions.

3. (3) Impact Christian (6-1, Class 1A)

Quality wins: Coral Glades, Creekside, Episcopal, Potter’s House, Raines.

Notable: Can’t penalize the Lions too much for scheduling up in competition. They dropped a close game to No. 2 Providence (66-57) and beat a quality Episcopal (53-44) and rocked Potter’s House (73-40) since our last Super 6. Ronald Clark (15.8 ppg), Frandy Perez (13.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg), Mechack Olungu (11.2 ppg, 10.7 rpg) and Jeremiah Jones (9 ppg) continue to shoulder the load for the Lions.

4. (4) Tocoi Creek (4-2, Class 6A)

Quality wins: Bishop Kenny, Episcopal, Milton.

Notable: The Toros went 1-1 since our last Super 6, with a win over Episcopal (69-54) and a tight loss to a very good Fleming Island (64-58). They’ve got Mandarin and Menendez this week on deck. King McFadden (20.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg) is leading the Toros.

5. (5) Bishop Kenny (7-2, Class 4A)

Quality win: Creekside, Ponte Vedra, Sandalwood.

Notable: The Crusaders went 2-1 since our last Super 6, handling Wolfson (58-35) and a solid Creekside team (65-54). The loss was to 6-1 Olympia (65-54), a Class 7A playoff team a year ago and one that is out to a 6-1 start. Good start for Kenny.

6. (NR) Fleming Island (4-2, Class 5A)

Quality wins: Oakleaf, Tocoi Creek.

Notable: I’ve got the Golden Eagles in over a red-hot Nease team that just knocked Ponte Vedra out of the Super 6. Fleming Island, led by uber-talented junior wing Carson Crawford (13.8 ppg, 7.8 rpg) is legit. The losses have come to Lake Howell, a Class 6A regional finalist last year, and last year’s Class 3A state runner-up, Villages Charter (58-56).

Dropped out

Ponte Vedra (4-3, Class 5A).
