JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX Super 6 boys high school basketball rankings will be published each Tuesday — except during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas — through the regular season. Records are through Dec. 15.

1. (1) Jackson (9-0, Class 3A)
Quality wins: Bolles, Fleming Island, Florida High, Ponte Vedra, Providence, Ribault.
Notable: Two big, quality wins for the Tigers since our last Super 6, including a gritty 82-81 win in OT over Ribault. They also had a more comfortable win over a very good Fleming Island squad (61-47). Tough one on deck against Impact Christian on Tuesday night. Javion Davis (15.1 ppg, 4.6 rpg), Donald Hackworth (14.7 ppg, 7.3 rpg) and King Sanders (10.2 ppg) boosted their scoring numbers across the board since the last rankings. Terrell Mosely II (9.4 ppg) and Corenzes Dennard (9 ppg) are behind those players.
2. (2) Providence (10-2, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Bolles, Impact Christian, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek, Windermere.
Notable: Easy stretch for the Stallions. They waxed St. Augustine (79-33), Bishop Snyder (77-36), Melbourne Central Catholic (79-36) and Fernandina Beach (83-29) since our last Super 6. Up next are Pine Ridge and Baldwin on Friday and Saturday before a holiday break. William Stewart (15.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg), Marvin Christie (14.6 ppg, 6.6 rpg) and Ryan Gornto (11.4 ppg) are leading the way for the
3. (3) Impact Christian (8-1, Class 1A)
Quality wins: Coral Glades, Creekside, Episcopal, Potter’s House, Raines.
Notable: The Lions had big wins over bigger programs since our last Super 6, beating Lake Minneola (78-23) and Timber Creek (63-32). They’ve got a massive showdown at No. 1 Jackson on Tuesday night. Ronald Clark (15.8 ppg), Frandy Perez (13.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg), Mechack Olungu (11.2 ppg, 10.7 rpg) and Jeremiah Jones (9 ppg) continue to shoulder the load for the Lions.
4. (4) Tocoi Creek (6-2, Class 6A)
Quality wins: Bishop Kenny, Episcopal, Milton.
Notable: The Toros bounced back from back-to-back losses to Providence and Fleming Island with big wins over Mandarin and Menendez. They’ve got Matanzas and Crescent City this week before a few days off. King McFadden (20.6 ppg, 5.3 rpg), Daniel Figueroa (12.9 ppg) and Marc Mitchell (11.1 ppg) are leading Tocoi Creek.
5. (5) Bishop Kenny (9-2, Class 4A)
Quality win: Creekside, Ponte Vedra, Sandalwood.
Notable: The Crusaders went 2-0 since our last Super 6, with a 70-43 romp over Sandalwood and a 44-34 win over Fletcher. They’ve got Bishop Snyder on Friday before a 10-day break for Christmas.
6. (6) Fleming Island (5-3, Class 5A)
Quality wins: Oakleaf, Ribault, Tocoi Creek.
Notable: The Golden Eagles went 1-1 since our last Super 6, losing to No. 1 Jackson (61-47) and then handling a Ribault team (75-61) that took Jackson to OT. uber-talented junior wing Carson Crawford (13.3 ppg, 8 rpg) is perhaps the area’s top player. Fleming stays in ahead of a solid Nease due to strength of schedule.
