Wins come cheaper by the dozen. That’s 12! What a season, and it’s not done yet. There’s still one week left in the regular season.
Sunday’s game against the Colts was close, but the Jaguars held on for a 23-17 win. And you know what? At the end of the day, a win is a win. Division games sometimes can be a little gritty and dirty.

I know you’ve been getting used to seeing those blowouts and Nick Mullens on the field in the fourth quarter, but that isn’t going to be every week in the NFL.
I’m not going to harp on the red-zone turnovers or the failed fourth-down try because this team has gotten to this point in the season by being aggressive. That’s a mentality. That’s a mind state. You live by it and die by it. Sometimes it works, and sometimes you get burned. It just is what it is. In this case, it was a rocky afternoon, but still a W.
Now, there’s one game left, and a win will get them the AFC South championship. It is that simple. If it all stays the same, the Jags would be the No. 3 seed.
That can still move up. The Patriots have the Dolphins next week, and quietly, Miami is rolling. They knocked off Tampa Bay in Week 17 and are 5-2 over their last seven games. If the ‘Fins can knock off the Patriots, and the Jags take care of business against Tennessee, that would move them up to the No. 2 seed and mean the only way the Jags have to leave Jacksonville in the playoffs is if they go to Denver in the AFC championship game. So, still a lot of moving pieces around the playoff destiny of the Jaguars.
But home or away doesn’t really matter; the Jaguars are still the team to beat in the AFC.
