JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jaguars season is back and our News4JAX sports staff is back with its predictions as well. Each week, we’ll unveil our predictions for the week’s game. Jacksonville (12-4) hosts Tennessee (3-13) in the regular season finale. A win will deliver the Jaguars the AFC South title, while a loss (and a Texans win) will give Houston the division title.

This year’s record: 12-4.

I will try to keep this one short and sweet. I am picking the Jaguars. Big surprise, right? Hopefully, they can get the job done, walk out of EverBank Stadium as the AFC South champions, and make me a winner in our picks this year. There isn’t much to say. The Jaguars need to get it done; Trevor Lawrence is playing lights out, and the only thing standing in Jacksonville’s way is those dastardly Titans from Tennessee. It could get a little dicey because we know the Titans would love nothing more than to take down the Jags, but this team is different. They have shown up prepared every time they needed to this season, and I don’t think Sunday will be any different. — Jaguars 31, Titans 17.

This year’s record: 11-5.

This season has been completely unexpected. Jacksonville was a four-win team a year ago under Doug Pederson. With a win on Sunday, they will finish with the second-most wins in a season in franchise history (1999 team was 14-2). The Titans are bad, but I think they’ll battle in this one. — Jaguars 34, Titans 20.

This year’s record: 10-6.

The Jaguars will cap their surprising and successful season with their eighth straight win by beating the rival Titans for the AFC South title on Sunday. The vibe in the locker room this week was one of excitement, but also the feeling that the players are not overlooking the 3-13 Titans. They know they have one more job to complete before they can focus on the playoffs. I think quarterback Trevor Lawrence will tie or break Blake Bortles’ record of 37 touchdowns in a season to finish his most successful year in Jacksonville.— Jaguars 34, Titans 14.

This year’s record: 11-5.

Give me the Jaguars to roll. I don’t think this game will be close. The team should take care of business and cruise to the AFC South championship. — Jaguars 28, Titans 7.
