JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars are locking up a versatile piece of their offensive line.
Offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen has agreed to a three-year, 51-million-dollar contract extension. The deal includes 32-and-a-half million dollars guaranteed and can reach 55-and-a-half million with incentives.
Van Lanen has started nine games this season, lining up at four different positions, including left tackle, left guard, right guard, and right tackle. He’s been in the lineup the past four games and is expected to start again Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
A former sixth-round pick by Green Bay, Van Lanen was acquired by Jacksonville in 2022 and has emerged as a key depth piece up front.
