Rank, school, record, classification

T1. (1) Impact Christian (17-2, Class 1A)

Quality wins: Baldwin, Ga., Coral Glades, Creekside, Episcopal, Fleming Island, Jackson, Marian (Texas), Potter’s House, Raines, St. Johns (Texas), Village (Texas).

Notable: The Lions beat Riverside (73-39), Fleming Island (73-53) and Rickards (47-27) handily since our last Super 6. They’ve got San Jose Prep up next on Friday. Ronald Clark (14.9 ppg), Frandy Perez (11.6 ppg, 5.8 rpg), Jeremiah Jones (10.8 ppg) and Mechack Olungu (10.3 ppg, 9.4 rpg) are leading the way for Impact.

T1. (2) Jackson (18-1, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Bolles, Fleming Island, Florida High, Godby, Leon, Mainland, Northside Christian, Ponte Vedra, Providence, Raines, Ribault, Rock National, Sandalwood

Notable: The Tigers have won nine straight since a loss to Impact Christian, and probably just plowed through one of their most challenging stretches of the regular season. They beat Sandalwood (83-52), Gainesville The Rock’s national program (79-76) and Mainland (58-55). Donald Hackworth (16.2 ppg, 6.7 rpg) and Javion Davis (16 ppg, 4.3 rpg) are leading the way. Jackson’s wins since our last Super 6 move them into a tie with the Lions.

3. (3) Providence (15-3, Class 2A)

Quality wins: Baldwin, Ga., Bishop Kenny, Bolles, Impact Christian, Northside Christian, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek, University Christian, Windermere.

Notable: The Stallions racked up two high quality local Ws since our last Super 6, racing past previously ranked University Christian (72-57) and Bishop Kenny (57-37). William Stewart (15.4 ppg, 6.9 rpg), Marvin Christie (13.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg), Ryan Gornto (11.9 ppg) and Luke Mayberry (9.3 ppg, 5.4 apg) are leading the way for the Stallions. This Providence team was ousted in the playoffs last year by UC, but the Stallions made a statement last week that this isn’t the same team.

4. (4) Tocoi Creek (13-4, Class 6A)

Quality wins: Bishop Kenny, Boca Ciega, Christian Academy-Louisville (Kentucky), Episcopal, Milton, University Christian.

Notable: The Toros went 1-1 since our last Super 6, a 65-61 win over University Christian and a surprising OT loss to St. Augustine (53-51). King McFadden is leading the Toros in scoring (19.1 ppg) and on the boards (6 rpg). Daniel Figueroa (12.1 ppg), Marc Mitchell (12 ppg) and Javares Rickerson (10.7 ppg) follow. Wanted to move Tocoi Creek down after that loss to St. Augustine, but

5. (5) Bishop Kenny (15-3, Class 4A)

Quality wins: Atlantic Coast, Creekside, Discovery, Ponte Vedra, Sandalwood.

Notable: The Crusaders had no trouble with Bartram Trail (58-37) or Menendez (62-47) since our last Super 6. They did lose to No. 3 Providence (52-37), which isn’t a bad loss. They’ve got a big one against Nease on Tuesday night.

6. (NR) Episcopal (14-3, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Christ’s Church, Eagle’s View, Heathwood Hall Episcopal (SC), Lake Wales, Mount Paran Christian (Ga.), Valwood (Ga.).

Notable: The Eagles have lost local games to only Tocoi Creek and Impact Christian, and have won 10 straight. Yes, the schedule hasn’t been overwhelmingly difficult but Episcopal is taking care of business. I intended to move Nease into the rankings this week, but the Panthers are coming off a 27-point loss to Milton.

Dropped out

University Christian (8-6, Class 2A).
