1. (1) Bolles (18-4, Class 3A)

Quality win: Bishop Kenny, Butler (Illinois), Creekside, Nease (twice), Orange Park, Ponte Vedra, Providence, Ribault, Tocoi Creek, Valor Christian.

Notable: The Bulldogs have been anchored in the No. 1 spot for most of the season. They cemented that with a 47-39 win over No. 2 Bishop Kenny since our last Super 6. Bolles also walloped Spruce Creek (79-18) and Nease (67-36) to run their winning streak to 13 games. They’ve got a very good San Jose Prep on Monday night followed by Fleming Island on Thursday. Evie Freeman (15.1 ppg, 5.2 rpg) and C Terrell McCoy (12.7 ppg, 6.7 rpg), Presley Norman (10.9 ppg) have been sharp the whole season. Freeman is on the short list for the area’s top player.

2. (2) Bishop Kenny (19-4, Class 4A)

Quality wins: Dillard, Episcopal, Greater Atlanta Christian, Ocoee, Orlando First Academy, Howell North (Maryland), San Jose Prep, Tocoi Creek, Wildwood.

Glance: Kenny enters this week on a rare two-game losing streak. They lost a tough one to No. 1 Bolles (47-39) and then got demolished by an always-powerful Winter Haven (48-25). I don’t have a ton of concern about the Crusaders. They’re still really, really good. Their four losses are all to teams who expect to be in the state semifinals. Kathleen Crawley (16.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg) is leading the way for Kenny. Makala DesJarlais is averaging 10.1 rebounds and 8.6 points for Kenny. Elle Deegan follows at 8.5 ppg. Kenny faces Orange Park on Tuesday and Creekside on Thursday before districts begin. I kept Kenny ahead of Tocoi Creek because they’ve got a 52-39 win over the Toros earlier this month.

3. (3) Tocoi Creek (18-5, Class 6A)

Quality wins: Beachside, Carruthers, Ga., Hilliard, Jackson, Orange Park, Ponte Vedra, Rickards.

Notable: The Toros had a quality week, beating previously ranked Orange Park (61-58 in OT) and Ponte Vedra (61-35). They also walloped Riverside (61-21). There’s a really good matchup on Tuesday at Providence. Audrey Beyer (18.9 ppg, 5.4 rpg) and Gabi Iturralde (13.2 ppg) are leading the Toros, with Beyer another player in the mix for the top player in the area.

4. (5) Providence (15-5, Class 2A)

Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Episcopal, Florida High, Keys Gate, Nease, Orange Park, Spruce Creek, Trinity Catholic, Western.

Notable: The Stallions bounced back from a surprising loss to Florida High with three quality Ws since our last Super 6. They handled a good Hilliard (69-39), bet a solid Bartram Trail in OT (43-41) and edged previously ranked Orange Park (45-43). Big game against No. 3 Tocoi Creek on Tuesday. Julianna Baskin (16.2 ppg, 10.8 rpg) Kasey Davey (15.8 ppg, 8.1 rpg) and Kennedy Loux (13.1 ppg) are leading Providence.

5. (4) San Jose Prep (16-7, Class 2A)

Quality wins: Bishop Snyder, Forest, Lee County (Ga.), New Hope Academy National (Maryland), NFEI (twice), Oxford (Alabama), Paxon, Ribault, St. Johns Country Day, Thomas County Central (Ga.)

Notable: The Storm thumped Yulee (73-13) in their lone game since our last Super 6. A big time clash against No. 1 Bolles is ahead on Monday night. Lena Most (14.2 ppg, 5.2 rpg), Falisa White (11.1 ppg), Mia Chandler (10.1 ppg, 9.5 rpg) and Whitney Hudson (10 ppg) are leading the Storm.

6. (NR) Ponte Vedra (16-6, Class 5A)

Quality wins: Bishop Snyder, Episcopal, Fleming Island, Lee County (Ga.), Menendez, Nease (twice), Oakleaf, Orange Park.

Notable: The Sharks return to the Super 6 after several weeks out, pushing Orange Park out of the rankings. Tough call on this spot, but I lean Sharks this week. Jocelyn Huffman (16.2 ppg) leads Ponte Vedra.
