JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Five area girls basketball teams earned top seeds in their regions as the Florida High School Athletic Association unveiled brackets Monday afternoon.
Tocoi Creek (1-6A), Bishop Kenny (1-4A), Bolles (1-3A), Providence (1-2A), and Hilliard (Rural) all begin the postseason as the No. 1 seeds in their regions. First-round games are Friday at 7 p.m.

Bolles, Hilliard, North Florida Educational Institute, Providence, and Tocoi Creek reached the state final four last year. The Bulldogs and Eagles played for state championships.
