JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Major League Baseball season is underway, and that means the minor league season isn’t far behind. Triple-A games start Friday night. Here’s a look at area players who will start the season on rosters of teams who are affiliated with Major League Baseball clubs. Players at the Triple-A level are already assigned to teams. Players who are in Double-A and other levels of Class A baseball won’t start their seasons until April 2. Rookie and complex level baseball begin in May and June.
Players who aren’t at the Triple-A level are listed with their organization from last year. This list will be updated as assignments at those levels are announced. For a look at players on Major League rosters as of March 25, find that here.
